UK Trade and Investment, the government organisation providing language supppport to companies in the UK doing business Internationally and the international trade arm of the East Midlands Development Agency appoints Elanga International as its chosen contractor to design and deliver a one day Spanish interactive language learning seminar in Derby to celebrate the European day of languages on September the 26th 2009. The course will be available to individuals who already have a working knowledge of Spanish and they will be employees of companies already engaged in export. More to come on this story later. Our client was on his way to London, letter in hand, to meet with the Prime Minister of an Eastern European country. Shortly before his departure he realised that from the point of view of communication there may well be a problem in that the PM may not understand its content. He also realised, perhaps more importantly, that by presenting his letter in the language of the person he was looking to do business with he would gain that vital respect and win the order. |
